Hi everyone,
I have a concern about if I should move to New York. I am currently in Dallas, TX. Life is pretty much easy over here. However, it seems hard for a second language speaker to build career in Texas. I have my major in Accounting. Everyone knows that living expenses in NY are extremely pricy and the living quality is poor. I am a 26 year-old married woman. I have a job in Dallas through a staffing agency. That's why I don't have any benefit for my employer. Moving to NY, I and my husband have to start everything over again, and it is even harder cuz the NY life is so much rusher than here. I am really confusing now. Please anyone give me some advice. I understand that I should have post these problems in different section of this forum. However, this is only place that I can type English. I don't have unikey in my office's computer and if I type Vietnamese without (` ' ^ ? .), it's hard to understand. Thanks for reading my concerns

Well, I do not have real experience yet. But I think you can try some below ways:
- show them some real case or article writing and explain about your method.
- give them some real data or projection: how long your son will get used to and can sleep on his own ( for example: first week crying loud , sescond week crying less, and then sleep on his own).
What I mean is that you should give them a picture or the progress how your method is going, and the outcome/benefits you will get. And if you fail to your method within projected time, you tell them that you will follow the traditional way.
That is just my suggestion. Hope you are able to persuade your parents in law.

What do you think about a online meeting group for speaking English?
It would be a good chance to practice English as well as make fiends?
Should we orgnize that kind of meeting through yahoo or skype?
