I'm the first to tell you about my family. Please give comments to my writing.
We ( my husband and I ) met when we were at university. ( We learnt in different branches of science at the same University) We loved and got married at the age of 23 in 1998. (too early, do u think so?):p
We started our own family when we hadn't been officials. Without salary, without a house or a flat or even a bike, we taught children at their home as tutors , and we did many odd jobs for our living , although we have our diplomas.:Sad:
When my daughter was nearly 2 years old (in 2001), we borrowed some money from a bank and we were able to buy a small 4th - class house (which we're now still living in). And then we were organized on the regular staff (being officials).
Our living ( in my own family) is better now. My salary is 3.000.000 VND (nearly 200 USD) a month. and so is my husband 's.
We have to pay for everything for our everyday life of 4 members, and for our annual debt in the bank.
We don't have time and money for traveling or going to entertainment centres...:Thinking:
We're the middle class in our society. But in comparison with the middle class, we're the poor, because we started our own family with "zero".:Straightf:
We 're always happy in spite of our hard life. My husband can play the guitar well, and we can sing (not very well) . We make ourselves a band every night. We always find good ways to enjoy our life together.:Laughing:
When we were a new married couple, my husband was lazy and he always said "I love u" to me. I told him that i didn't want to "hear" his love but I wanted to "see" his love for me. I said: "U should show ur love by sharing the hard work with me. I'm a small woman and not as strong as other women, and we can't afford a servant, u see..." He agreed and he has been working hard to earn more for our living. Besides, he helps me heartily with the housework everyday. :)
We usually get angry with each other. But we seem to be sad if we don't talk for some minutes, so we are quickly good together again.:Laughing:
These days, when we have had our second baby for nearly 3 months, my husband is busier and busier with his work at the office, and with the housework at home: Taking our kid to school, going to the market, cooking the meals, washing up, cleaning/ tidying the house, feeding the cat and the hens (we raise some hens for eggs)....:p
I can "see"/ feel his full, truly love for me and for our daughter although he doesn't say "I love u" to me as he used to.
You know, He cooks badly. At first, I sneered at him, He got angry with me. Now we get used to enjoying his products. In fact, we don't have expensive or luxury meals. Boiled rice, boiled vegetables, boiled eggs, fried fish or meat, some fruits, that's all in our meals everyday.:Laughing:
Last year, an article wrote about my husband in "Good person, good work" column of our city newspaper. They wrote about him as he has been training many good students who have won the best prizes (in City Math Competitions) for 2-3 years continuedly.
The article was printed exactly on my daughter's birthday (13 September). The whole family were very happy. We organized a party and we took some photos.:Laughing:
